I BOUGHT THIS IRON AFTER READING THE MANY RAVE REVIEWS. I WAS PREVIOUSLY USING THE CHI AND THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT- FOR A WHILE..UNTIL IT LOST ITS UMPH. I WAS TIRED OF THE SCORCHED HAIR SMELL,0NE HEAT SETTING AND HAVING MY HAIR TUGGED AND PULLED...BUT NOW IVE FOUND THE SEDU!!! ITS WONDERFUL...IT LITERALLY GLIDES DOWN THE HAIR SHAFT AND LEAVES YOUR HAIR SOOOOO SHINY... YOU CAN ADJUST THE HEAT TO WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE IT. IT DOESNT TUG YOUR HAIR AND YOU CAN CURL YOUR HAIR WITH EASE -WITHOUT TEARING OUT STRANDS. THE ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS THAT MY HAND KEEPS HITTING THE HEAT SETTING DIAL WHILE IM FLAT IRONING MY HAIR AND IT TURNS IT DOWN AND GETS COOL{MAYBE ITS JUST THE WAY I HOLD IT.}WHEN I TURN IT BACK UP IT HEATS QUICKLY. I LOVE IT AND IT PUTS THE CHI TO SHAME. ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

I bought a chi based on the great reviews. When I used it, I thought it was great. It made my hair really straight and my hair didn't get frizzy when it was humid. Then, I got my sister in law a Sedu for xmas. When I used it for the first time, I was amazed. I thought nothing could top the chi. I was wrong. I immediately bought myself one. It glides down my hair. I have naturally curly hair and I air dry my hair before using the Sedu. After I'm was done, my hair is pin straight with lots of movement. Even when I need my ends trimmed, you cannot tell because of how great the Sedu works on my hair. I have recommended this to many friends and family and no one has been disappointed. If you are looking for a great flat iron, this is a GREAT investment. I haven't been to the hair dresser since.
